'CAUSE WE ALL JUST WANNA BE BIG ROCKSTARS
Nu mina kära bandmates har jag funnit något jäkligt roligt. the "HOW TO BECOME A ROCKSTAR" list, låt oss se vad vi har åstadkommit so far.
1. Learn how to play an instrument or take vocal lessons. (VI JOBBAR PÅ DET)
2. Put Together A Band really, (get people who can actually sing or play an instrument well) CHECK! vi har ett band, men bs att man måste börja med kunniga medlemmar för att bli ett rockband
3. Practice, practice, and practice, and keep believing in yourself. If you lose hope in your talents, you'll never make it anywhere. Sometimes you think you lost your talent, but you should just take a rest and come back later to try again. (JOBBAR PÅ)
4. Write your music and make it something you like. Writing constantly is the key. Practice makes perfect. FÖR TIDIGT
5. Record some of your music, after you've memorized the lyrics/notes by heart. It's a good idea to make a CD with your tracks. CHECK, DET GÖR VI VÄL?
6. Allow your closest friends to listen and consider your music
7. Let a group of people listen to your music after you've made changes; watch their expressions. If there's a lot of concerned faces and shaking of heads, tweak a little more of your tunes. CHECK! ponte, jocke, challe, petter har väl lyssnat? såg dock inga fundersamma ansikten på dem, SCORE!
8. Play at gigs. Sometimes they're hard to get but you need for the live entertainment experience. This is the most crucial part. The idea is to get as many gigs as possible. Visiting or phoning hundreds of pubs for two weeks straight to get as many gigs packed in as possible is very important. Also playing day after day in front of a large audience will have your performing talents sky rocket. FÖR TIDIGT
9. Save your money wisely, and don't quit your full time job or get a part time job. Now it begins. FÖR TIDIGT, men snart är vi väl där.
10. Create a band/artist website featuring pictures, your show calender, and previous employers for other pubs to see will give you a leg up. CHECKCHECKCHECK, typ. (king att vi typ börjar med punkt 10)
11. Hand out CDs of your music to people you know/meet, or even to strangers, this might help you get more fans and/or get a record deal.
12. Record your band's music on a video and upload it on Youtube. Make sure the video is "cool" and will appeal to many people.
13. Tell your friends to recommend your music to as many people as possible; the effect will snowball, and you may have an even larger fan base.
14. Never ever give up, even when it seems like you are not getting anywhere; you can't call it quits. Because then you would be a quitter, and rockstars aren't quitters. CHECK, HÄR GER VI INTE UPP!
